OSHA Electrical Safety Training

Protect your employees from electrical injuries and comply with OSHA requirements by teaching them how work safe with electricity.

What is OSHA Electrical Safety Training?

OSHA Electrical Safety Training is a required training for your employees.  This course addresses electrical safety requirements to safeguard employees and contractors who work near hazardous electricity. Electricity is essential to modern life, both at home and on the job. Some employees work with electricity directly like electricians, electronic workers, and power line workers. Many of us work around electricity but are not qualified to directly handle electrical components, or in other words, not authorized to be potentially exposed to live electrical parts.

OSHA Electrical Safety Training will cover:

  • Electrical safety requirements
  • Electrical equipment
  • Wiring in hazardous locations
  • Recognition and avoidance of electrical hazards

After completing the training, your employees will be able to:

  • Protect themselves from electrical exposures
  • Control or eliminate hazards
  • Understand the safety procedures

Insure Compliance will meet with your staff and conduct in-person training on OSHA Electrical Safety training.

Regulations covered:

1926 Subpart K Electrical Standards (construction), or

1910 Subpart S Electrical Standards (general industry)
